The Dun & Bradstreet App for Zapier is currently in beta. This means the functionality is still under development, and new features and updates are being added regularly.

One key limitation in the current beta version is that triggers are not yet supported.

What are triggers in Zapier?

Triggers are events in an application that automatically start a workflow (Zap). In the case of Dun & Bradstreet, triggers could eventually be used to automatically detect changes within a company, without the need for manual checks.

Examples of possible future triggers

Once triggers are supported, you could be notified automatically when:

  • Changes in a company’s financial health occur

  • Registered address changes

  • Updates to directors or company officers

  • New legal events such as bankruptcies or mergers

  • Modifications in corporate structures, such as changes in parent or subsidiary relationships

These triggers could be connected to apps like Slack, email, your CRM, or project management tools — so your organization is instantly informed of relevant business changes.

What can I do today?

While triggers aren’t yet available, you can already use Search Actions to pull real-time company data from Dun & Bradstreet Data Blocks on demand. Learn more in this article.

When will triggers be supported?

There is no confirmed release date for trigger functionality in Zapier. However, development is underway. Interested in this feature or want to be notified once monitoring becomes available? Let us know via your account manager.
