Unfortunately, in this beta version, the Dun & Bradstreet app does not yet have Trigger functionality. We will use the Search Action 'Company Entity Resolution' to find a match in the Dun & Bradstreet database using the available data from your Trigger, which is the first step in your Zap.
Required Fields for Matching
The only mandatory field for making a match is the Country ISO code. This field is essential because it narrows down the search area in the Dun & Bradstreet database to a single country.
Fields You Can Use in Combination with the Country Code
Registration Number: In the Netherlands, this is the KvK number; in Belgium, you can use the VAT number, and in France, SIREN/SIRET. If you have a local registration number, it is often sufficient to make the match.
Registration Number Type: In some countries, you can search for different types of registration numbers. For example, in the Netherlands, you can choose between the KvK number or the VAT number. Specifying the type increases the chance of a match.
Name: The name of the company. The more precise the name, the better the system can find a match. The chances of success are higher if you provide this field in combination with the address or city name.
Additional data that can be used for matching includes 'address line 1,' 'address line 2,' and 'city.' This works best in combination with the company name.

Test Your Mapping
Perform a test on the mapping of the data fields to see if you get the desired response.
If everything goes well, the match will be successful. The response will be published in the 'Data Out' tab. The action always returns only one match candidate.
