It may happen that you cannot find the company you are looking for, even with the advanced search function. In that case, you can request an investigation. The local D&B office will then investigate what information is available for this company. On the search results page, you will find the option 'Submit an investigation' at the top right of the page.

Fill in as much information as possible and click on 'Continue investigation'. On the next page you will see possible matches again. If the company you are looking for is not yet here, you can continue with 'Continue investigation' at the bottom.

On the next page we ask you to leave your phone number. In case we have questions about the research, we may contact you by phone.

In the section 'Other Information' we ask you to leave as much information as possible that could help us find the company. Think of contact names, the company industry, VAT number, additional address details, a website, or other companies within the same family structure. At 'Level of Service for Investigation' you can opt for an accelerated investigation (Priority Service). Please check the conditions of your contract for more information about the additional costs.

When all information is entered correctly, click on 'Launch investigation'. You will receive an e-mail with a tracking number and will be notified by e-mail as soon as the investigation is completed.

Tip: Under the menu item 'Investigations' you can see the status of ongoing and completed investigations.
